JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated Power BI Training Specialist. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive training programs on Microsoft Power BI, enabling individuals and teams to effectively utilize the platform for data analysis, visualization, and reporting, by teaching them data modeling, data transformation, DAX functions, and best practices to create interactive dashboards and reports that meet business needs; they collaborate with stakeholders to assess training requirements and tailor content accordingly, ensuring users gain the necessary skills to leverage Power BI effectively within their roles. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development:

Create structured Power BI training courses covering foundational concepts (data connection, data cleaning), advanced features (DAX calculations, custom visuals), and best practices for data visualization and dashboard design. 

• Training Delivery:

Conduct instructor-led training sessions, both in-person and virtually, catering to different skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced) and adapting content based on audience needs. 

• Needs Assessment:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify training gaps and tailor training programs to address specific organizational requirements. 

• Hands-on Exercises:

Develop practical exercises and case studies to reinforce learning and enable participants to apply Power BI skills to real-world scenarios. 

• Technical Support:

Provide ongoing support to trainees, addressing questions and troubleshooting issues encountered during their Power BI usage. 

• Assessment and Evaluation:

Design and administer assessments to measure training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. 

• Stay Updated:

Keep abreast of new Power BI features, updates, and best practices to incorporate into training materials. 

Required Skills:

• Proficient Power BI Skills:

Deep understanding of Power BI functionalities including data modeling, data transformation, DAX calculations, data visualization techniques, and dashboard design. 

• Training Delivery Expertise:

Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills to effectively engage learners in a training environment. 

• Data Analysis Skills:

Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and translate complex insights into actionable business information. 

• Technical Acumen:

Familiarity with various data sources, database concepts, and data integration methods. 

• Adaptability:

Flexibility to adjust training content based on audience needs and evolving business requirements. 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
• Microsoft Power BI Certification or equivalent
• Proven experience delivering data analysis and visualization training
• Strong understanding of business intelligence concepts and applications
• Experience working with diverse/international stakeholders across different business functions
