The delivery of your finished product by our team is more than just a handover. It is a mutual celebration as it is a process. Instead of giving you the product and call it a day, we will celebrate. We will also make sure that your product does not turn into a headache or nightmare because you don’t know how to operate it. So we will test it and release it incrementally until everything works. Finally, We will train you or your IT personnel so you can take control of it, or give you complete manuals.
The last phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which is typically referred to as Release or deployment, can be stressful if not managed properly. For once, the user may be a little nervous about what to expect and how the new product will fit into the company culture. Without properly managing this step, you can turn a successful project into a disaster. That is why TSI emphasizes testing, training of you your IT personnel so you can take control of your product, and/or giving you complete manuals containing operation details. Furthermore, we can do all of the above or perform the necessary combinations when or if necessary. This is the reason this phase is also known as the Deployment and Maintenance phase because it is sometimes necessary to have the development company maintains the project for a specific period of time.
Traditionally, once the product is tested and ready to be deployed, it is released formally to an entity or in the appropriate market. And because product deployment quite often happens in stages as per the business strategy of that organization, having a clear understanding before the project begins is important. Depending on the scope and size of the project, it is common for the product to be first released in a limited segment and tested in the real business environment, a testing process known as User Acceptance Testing. Then based on the feedback, the product may be released as it is or with suggested enhancements in the targeting market segment. After the product is released in the market, its maintenance is done for the existing customer base as per the contract agreement.
